Join Annerley-Stephens History Group Inc for its AGM on Tuesday 6 October.

This free event is an opportunity to celebrate our achievements and thank you for your support.

We'll welcome our new Committee and look back on our year of year of events, workshops, walks, displays, research and sharing of stories in our history room.

There'll be a light supper and some historical mischief: Royalists Vs Republicans Celebrity Heads.

The short AGM commences at 6.00 followed by supper and the history fun, finishing at around 8.00 pm.

Annerley-Stephens History Group (ASHG) is based at the Yeronga Community Centre, 62 Park Rd (entry via Villa Street).

ASHG researches and presents all aspects of the history of the areas which used to be part of the old shire of Stephens before it became part of Brisbane City Council in 1925. In current terms, Stephens was centered in Annerley, and included Fairfield, Yeronga, Yeerongpilly, Tennyson, Tarragindi, Holland Park West, and parts of surrounding suburbs of Greenslopes, Moorooka and Mount Gravatt.
