ANU Multimedia Meet Up - June 2025
Event description
An invitation to ANU Education support staff, ANU academics and any professional staff who are interested in multimedia content production.
The first in our 2025 series of AV Meet ups! This will also be the soft launch of the Lightboard & Podcast Studio - a exciting collaboration between the Multimedia Education + ANU Centre for Energy Systems (ACES) that ANU professional and academics staff can use.
We'll also update you on the current state of central education multimedia support, focused around the Baldessin Education Studio - an ongoing collaboration with CASS's Education Design Studio (EDS).
Learn what support and resources are available to help you create education and other multimedia content at ANU.
We will start at Baldessin Building (110) and then walk to the Lightboard & Podcast Studio in the Skaidrite Darius Building (108) - former CSIT Building)
While there are major shifts at ANU - in 2025 we plan on continuing to host meet ups in the same space (Baldessin Education Studio) associated with the AV Innovators (Teams channel) and to use these events foster networking and collaboration and support between multimedia staff and education support staff/academics at ANU.
We are particularly keen on showing the two studio spaces to any staff in education support roles and to academics who are interested in flipping their classrooms and pre-recording lecture content - however it's open to any staff working in communications, marketing and academic or support roles. This session will be hosted by the Multimedia Team from ANU Learning and Teaching, featuring CASS Education Design Studio (EDS) and Sarah Wilson from ANU Centre for Energy Systems.
If you are interested in attending or running a short workshop - come along and join us in this evolving community of practice.
