ANUMTC’s High School Musical On Stage!

High School Musical On Stage follows the students of East High as they return from winter break and navigate the pressure of high school life. Basketball captain Troy Bolton and academically gifted Gabriella Montez form an unexpected friendship after meeting on holiday and discovering a shared love of singing.

When they audition for the school musical, their decision challenges the expectations placed on them by classmates, teammates, and friends. As rivalries emerge and social groups clash, the students are forced to reconsider who they are and whether they should be defined by a single role.

Featuring a contemporary score and an ensemble of memorable characters, High School Musical On Stage explores themes of identity, ambition, friendship, and the value of stepping beyond expectations.
