Event description

Last year we launched the Anyone Can Sydney Event, teaming up with Tech Central.

It was Australia’s first start up and tech event specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Black and Women of Colour and non-binary people.

And it was a massive success.

This year we're back and bigger than ever.

Event Speakers:

MC: Sara Hamka, Director, Bankstown Poetry Slam

Moderator: Sara Mansour, co-founder and director of Bankstown Poetry Slam (BPS)

Panellists:

  • Roma (Ndolo) Van der Walt, Founder, Vitelle
  • Candice Bowditch, Engineer, Google
  • Priyanka Ashraf, Founder & Director, Maya Cares, Anyone Can, The Creative Co-Operative
  • Lucy Wang, Content Creator & Founder, Tech With Lucy

What To Expect:

💡 Expect no-BS panel discussions, audience Q&As, performers, new friends, great food and goodie bags. And of course, connections and reflections, learning and inspiration from some of the continent's leading entrepreneurs and technologists from our communities.

We create magical experiences to cultivate community. P.S the goodie bags included with your ticket fee are purchased from and support businesses owned by our amazing community.

Your ticket also includes delicious food and drinks for the night and helps cover costs for speakers and staff, because we do not exploit unpaid labour from our community.

Finally, ticket proceeds will be pooled and given to the founder who wins the pitch competition happening later in the year.

So pop this one in the calendar. It’s going to be big.
