Enjoy a boat tour on the Ramsar-listed Peel-Harvey Estuary, with special guest experts sharing their knowledge and stories about the abundant wildlife and wetland environment,

ITINERARY
Departing from Mandjar Bay, this 3-hour tour will cruise through the Mandurah Estuary Channel visiting local birding hotspots of Soldiers Cove, Samphire Cove, Creery Wetlands and Islands. Learn about these internationally significant wetlands and spot local wildlife - including wetland birds and dolphins, with the help of your expert guides. Scopes will be set up on on board but please bring your own binoculars if you have any.

Around 4pm, the tour will arrive at Mandurah Quays for a short land experience and opportunity to stretch your legs for a short birdwalk at Len Howard Reserve.

Back on board at ~5pm, the cruise will make its way back along the wetlands and towards the sunset, where you'll hear updates of projects happening around the estuary and taste canapes and local produce by Mandurah Cruises chefs.

Tea, coffee and water are complimentary, and the bar will be available for other beverages.

Warm jacket in case it gets cool on the water
Mosquito spray (please don't spray on the boat - wait until you are on the land away from the boat as there are food and drinks)

ACCESS
This tour will be taking place on Mandurah Cruises two-storey vessel Dancing Dolphin, and is wheelchair accessible for the cruise component only. Guests must be able to manage 2 step up/down to disembark/board the vessel for the land experience at Mandurah Quays.

Tour departs from the Mandurah Cruises Jetty, on Mandjar Square in Mandurah. The departure point is readily accessible by public transport, only a short bus ride from the Mandurah Train Station. Public parking is also available nearby. Please plan to be boarding the vessel at least 15 minutes prior to departure, to allow for a timely start.
