AOTEAROA ALCHEMY OF SOUND

Debbie Karl and Amiria Raumati bring together sound, song and narrative to take the participant on a journey from the Himalayas in India to the shores of Hawaii and journeying us home to Aotearoa. The songs and instruments from all of these lands have been used through time for healing. An experience that is deeply restorative, restful and very ancient.

Amiria brings a powerful medicine to the evening. Amiria is a dedicated Kaitiaki of Aotearoa and travels to work with many indigenous elders worldwide in service to humanity and our precious papatuanuku.  She brings forward the deep wisdom of our lands through song and her regal and majestic presence.  Amiria serves our people here at home with maori healing clearing blockages held in the body and mind that obscure people from their wholeness.
Debbie studied sanskrit song from the high parts of the himalayas and brings this sound current to the evening knowing its undeniable power to transform the harmony within our energetic bodies. An oriental medicine pracitioner her work is also to clear blockage and to help return clients to their original nature. Debbie brings a gentle presence and warmth and will settle you in for the evening and begin this very powerful journey for you.
