This Valentine’s week, join us at Cellar Door Wines for a wine tasting experience with a difference: a romantic journey through the islands of the Mediterranean and beyond, where wine, mythology, history and storytelling intertwine.

Curated from the Cellar Door Wines portfolio of island wines, Aphrodite, Etna & Atlantis invites you to follow two mysterious characters — The Lovers — as they journey from Cyprus, westwards across the Mediterranean and out into the Atlantic, towards the mythical Isles of the Blessed.

Guided by Adam Brookes, each glass becomes a new chapter in their story, bringing to life the places they encounter along the way. Expect fascinating references to ancient mythology, local history and cultural traditions, woven together with the romance and intrigue of the journey.

Alongside the storytelling, Adam will explore the character of each wine, from its aromas and flavours to the unique viticulture, grape varieties and winemaking techniques that give every island its distinctive identity.

To complement the wines, cheese and charcuterie sharing boards will be served, adding a delicious Mediterranean touch to this immersive evening.
