Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
LivingWorks ASIST is the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop, designed to provide participants with the confidence and skills to respond to someone at risk of suicide.
The ASIST is a two-day in-person workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. Participants learn how to intervene with someone with thoughts of suicide and help them to develop a safety plan, access support and have hope.
With the support of NEAMI National, Luma is rolling out the ASIST training for free for anyone interested – community members, parents, carers, teachers, community volunteers, service clients, health staff, coaches, workers, EVERYONE!
