Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) for LGBTIQA+ & Allies

MindOUT is pleased to be working in partnership with Diverse Voices to offer this ASIST training for members of LGBTIQ+ communities, at no cost (usually $375).
This training has been specifically adapted by and for LGBTIQ+ communities, with the goal of building capacity of LGBTIQ+ people within their own communities.
LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) aims to enhance a caregiver’s abilities to help a person at risk avoid suicide. Participants learn to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and respond in ways that help increase their immediate safety and link them to help.Â
**To help ensure participant safety, this session is only open to LGBTIQ+ community & Allys**
