rainbowRopes exists to offer an inclusive and supportive space where our community can learn, practice, and connect through rope.

Never played with rope before? Come join us. You have? Come join us! We believe everyone has something to learn and something to share.

Rope is a simple tool with endless possibilities. We are able to engage with the mind, body and emotions by using rope to communicate, play, connect, move, practice mindfulness and awareness, overcome challenges, or create art. Every person discovers something a bit different in their rope practice and that diversity is something we get excited about. We believe there is not one "right" way to enjoy rope but to explore vast spectrum of possibilities together and see what we find!

At rainbowRope Social we want you to come with what you know and questions about what you don't. Each month there will be a featured topic to discuss, learn, and play with. No experience is necessary, only curiosity and openness. We hope every month you will be able to take something home that you can use.

We find lot of things important but these are the top few.

Consent. This is a consent-forward event. That means several things. It is expected that you keep the privacy of all the individuals that attend, people's bodies and items are not to be touched without explicit consent first, no pictures/videos/audios are to be taken without explicit consent first. We value the integrity and safety of the space and each individual human that enters.

Inclusivity. Diversity makes this stronger. Come as you are no matter your gender, race, orientation, relationship structure, body type, disability, identity, or experience level etc

Kindness. Be kind and open to learning about the people in your community, not just the rope. We are here to support and encourage each other.

Safety. While I know we are all just a bunch of silly geese, safety is super important. Safety while using rope as well as the safety and integrity of each individual who attends and the container we create and exist in, Great respect and safety for self and others is expected.

Be You. We want YOU to show up. We hope this space feels safe enough to let your mask fall off and you allow the community and rope to embrace YOU!
