April Sound Bath at St. Michael’s: A Sanctuary of Stillness and Sound
Event description
Join us for a deeply restorative Sound Bath experience inside the breathtaking sanctuary of the historic Church of St. Michael and All Angels. Surrounded by soaring ceilings, hand-carved beams, and luminous stained glass, this sacred space provides the perfect setting to reconnect with your inner peace.
This session is open to everyone, regardless of background, beliefs, or experience with sound bath sessions. While St. Michael’s is a place of worship, this offering is not religious in nature. Our time together is about creating space for quiet reflection, nervous system regulation, and gentle reconnection with yourself—supported by the soothing frequencies of quatz crystal singing bowls.
Whether you are navigating stress, seeking clarity, or simply curious to try something new, you are welcome here.
No special equipment or knowledge is required. Just wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, pillow/ blanket, and allow yourself to be held by the serene atmosphere of one of Alabama’s most beautiful architectural treasures.
Come as you are. Leave feeling more grounded, centered, and whole.
Doors open at 5:45pm
No entry past 6:10pm
What to bring?
- Yoga Mat (if you chose this option at sign up)
- Water
- And anything that will make you feel more comfortable lying on the floor. (blanket, pillow, bolster, etc.)
