ARC-PGC: Discover Canberra: Connect, Explore, and Belong

Join us for the UNSW Canberra HDR City Tour, organized by PGC and ARC, a vibrant initiative designed to enrich the academic and cultural journey of our Higher Degree Research students. This unique tour is more than a day out—it’s an immersive experience that connects researchers with the heart of Australia’s cultural, political, and natural heritage. From the inspiring masterpieces at the National Gallery of Australia, to the historical insights at the Old Parliament House, the biodiversity of the National Zoo & Aquarium, and the serene beauty of Uriarra Picnic Spot, this journey offers the perfect blend of learning, networking, and relaxation. Especially tailored for international and domestic HDR students, this initiative aims to foster a sense of belonging, community, and academic wellbeing—aligned with UNSW Canberra’s mission to support student engagement and inclusion.
