Ladies, join us for a huge day of food, drinks and fun activities on beautiful Magnetic Island for our first ever 'Tour de Maggie' Arcadian Surf Club Ladies Day, supported by Tan Lines Distilling. Event details are as follows:
Date - Saturday 19th July 2025
Times - all mainland based guests are asked to meet at the SeaLink Breakwater Terminal no later than 11.20am (for departure on the 11.40am ferry) to register with our Event Leader and receive your return ferry ticket. Island based guests are asked to meet at the Nelly Bay Terminal (outside the SeaLink office) at 12.05pm. Mainland guests can then return to town on whatever ferry they choose after the structured event activities have concluded.
Dress - Casual, comfortable with a touch of tropical
Ticket Price - $140.00 per person (+ Booking Fee)
Ticket Inclusions - Return ferry ticket for mainland based guests; bus transfers for the tour portion of the event (return bus/taxi transfers to terminal or elsewhere at the end of the event are not included); welcome cocktail on arrival; lunch and dinner; three structured activities as detailed in the Itinerary below.
Brief Itinerary - after travelling over on the ferry or meeting at the Nelly Bay Terminal guests will be greeted with a custom Tan Lines Distilling cocktail or mocktail of their choosing (available options listed when purchasing ticket) and ushered on to a charter bus. We will then travel to the Magnetic Island Brewery in Picnic Bay, where lunch will be provided and drinks will be available to purchase while we have a bit of 'trivia' fun. Then it's back on the bus and off to Nomads in Nelly Bay for drinks by the ocean (guests to purchase drink of choice). After a relaxing sip by the beach we head by bus over to the Magnetic Island Bowls Club in Arcadia for a lively session of Barefoot Bowls, with bowls lessons and a few fun competitions included. Afternoon snacks will be provided at the Bowls Club and the bar will be open to purchase your own drinks. After some barefoot bowls fun we are back on the bus to our final destination of the Arcadian Surf Club at Alma Bay. Here there will be food platters provided for dinner, along with the Deck Bar open for purchasing drinks. We will also get to learn something new while enjoying a Cocktail Masterclass by Aaron from Tan Lines Distilling. There will also be a very "cheeky" Sip & Sketch Session hosted by local artist Sasha Stafford, who will teach us some basic drawing techniques using pencils and charcoal with the help of a live male model. Please note, the Sketch & Sip session will include some tasteful nudity of the male model, however you can choose to opt out of this session if that's not your cup of tea! We will finish off the day with drinks, dancing and a few laughs. Guests can then choose whichever ferry they'd like to go on if returning to town that night, or can leave whenever they feel like it if staying on the Island.
