ArchaeoPalooza - Celebrating 25 Years of Desert Institute!

ArchaeoPalooza is a free, family-friendly program celebrating California Archaeology Month! This year, our big event will also celebrate 25 years of the Desert Institute!
This is an ADA accessible activity — little to no travel required.
ArchaeoPalooza will feature a variety of science and archaeology talks presented by Desert Institute instructors and staff from Joshua Tree National Park. We will have six guest speakers and a variety of interactive activities at the event. In addition to archaeology, the program will cover topics including common flora, geology, insects, and wildlife. Local organizations and vendors will interact with the public at tables throughout the day.

Freedom Plaza Gym is ADA accessible. Event presentations will be in English.
