ArchiTeam Board Election / Pre-Nomination Information Session.

Thinking about joining the ArchiTeam Board? Here’s your opportunity to learn more.

ArchiTeam is hosting a special Pre-Nomination Information Session for members interested in contributing to the future direction of the cooperative. In 2025, three positions on the ArchiTeam Board of Directors will become available. To support members considering nomination, we’re pleased to offer this session featuring respected governance expert Richard Westlake.

If you’re passionate about supporting small practice architects and want to contribute your skills to the governance and strategic leadership of ArchiTeam, we encourage you to consider nominating for one of the upcoming Board vacancies. The Expression of Interest is available on the website.

About the Session:
This informative session will outline:

  • The responsibilities and time commitment involved as a Director

  • The nomination and election process

  • Insights into what it means to serve on the Board of a member-led cooperative

You’ll also hear firsthand from current and former ArchiTeam Board members, sharing their experiences, challenges, and the meaningful contributions they’ve made to small practice architecture in Australia.

About Richard Westlake:
Richard is the founder and Managing Director of Westlake Governance Limited, and brings enormous practical experience to his role, having been a board chair and director for more than 25 years in a very wide range of organisations. As a Board Chair, he has particular expertise and experience in leading transformational organisation change, across a range of sectors.
