HERE Studio & PLOT Architecture are teaming up to host a Renovation Workshop for anyone thinking about renovating their home, but unsure how to begin, or who to ask for help!

Join Ammon & Jose as they guide you through the ins-and-out's of the renovation process, whilst sharing a few insights that will make navigating the planning, design and construction process as easy as possible. 

The workshop will cover a range of topics including:

  • Design Strategies
  • Design Team
  • Design Trends
  • Planning Permits
  • Building Permits
  • Heritage & Sustainability Considerations
  • Construction Methods (Builder vs Owner Builder)
  • Cost of Construction

There will also be an opportunity to get hands-on with product sample-boards, and a moment to ask the presenters any burning questions!

It's a lot to cover in one hour but we'll do our best to give you the confidence you need to make get started!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Agreement to Terms

By registering for and attending the Renovation Workshop (“Workshop”) organized by [PLOT Architecture & Urbanism & Winter Architecture] (“Organiser”), you (“Participant”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Workshop Content

The Workshop will provide general building and renovation advice. The content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional or legal advice particular to your exact needs. Participants are encouraged to engage a registered professional for specific advice tailored to their individual needs.

3. Registration and Payment

a. Registration: Participants must register for the Workshop via the designated registration process.
b. Payment: The fee for the Workshop is [Amount], payable upon registration. Registration is not confirmed until full payment is received.
c. Refunds: Refunds will be issued only if the Organiser cancels the Workshop. No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations.

4. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully during the Workshop. Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Workshop without a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during the Workshop, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and digital content, are the intellectual property of the Organiser. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Organiser.

6. Recording and Photography

Participants may photograph any portion of the Workshop without the Organizer’s prior written consent. Video recording of the presentation is not permitted. The Organiser reserves the right to record the Workshop and use the recordings for promotional or educational purposes.

7. Liability

The Organizer is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur during or as a result of the Workshop. Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims arising from their participation in the Workshop.

8. Indemnity

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Workshop, use of the Workshop materials, or any violation of these Terms & Conditions.

9. Changes to the Workshop

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the content, schedule, or location of the Workshop if necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.

10. Privacy

The Organiser will collect and use Participants’ personal information to be added to the Organiser's mailing list. By registering for the Workshop, Participants consent to such collection and use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser and the Participant and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

By registering for the Workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
