Architecture Photography Workshop with Hossein Farahani

Join professional photographer Hossein Farahani on the grounds of Sunshine Coast University for a workshop on photographing buildings and architectural details. Hossein will share his expert knowledge and then you will explore the architectural buildings of this university campus to use your new photography skills. There are many architectural greats that have contributed award winning buildings to the Uni SC campus including: Romaldo ‘Aldo’ Giurgola (Architect for the Australian Parliament House), John Mainwaring, Noel Robinson, Kerry and Lindsay Clare, Daryl Jackson and many others.

There will be a group “Photography Pin Up” via Zoom a week after this session at a time to be confirmed. This is where participants can discuss their photos and receive valuable feedback. A great session for design and architecture students, design enthusiasts and anyone who loves sharing fabulous pics on Instagram.

This event will include a short design tour of the University of the Sunshine Coast Campus followed by a presentation covering the role of Romaldo ‘Aldo’ Giurgola (Architect for the Australian Parliament House) in developing the campus masterplan and the design of three buildings by eminent Sunshine Coast Architects with a focus on the Sunshine Coast School of Architecture.
