Online Event

This course takes place as a series of live sessions via Zoom, on the nominated dates. Attendees will be sent instructions with a link and any additional information required, such as workbooks, prior to the course start date. At the completion of the course, an assessment will be distributed online, with answers submitted for marking by our course trainer. On completion of marking, those that achieve a pass will be issued with a Certificate of Competence, accredited by ARCIA.

Introduction to Radio Communications

Date: 5-9 June 2023
Daily time: 10:00 am–12:00 pm AEST

This course introduces participants to radio communications and associated technologies.

Modules include:

an overview of radio service as a transmission media
how transmitters and receivers work
an overview of wave propagation
and radio antenna systems.

The information is introductory in nature and designed for all audiences. Participants will acquire a basic understanding of radio communications theory.

Refund policy

Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event if cancellation is received in writing. After this time frame, a substitute student can be entered into the course as a replacement. If a substitute is not available, the student will be given the option of attending the next available course with no additional fee payable.
