Arette Artesanal Tequila Tasting with Tacos!

Women Who Whiskey Los Angeles is excited to invite you to a tasting of five Arette Artesanal Tequilas - plus tacos! - at woman-owned Pez Cantina on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m.

Pez Cantina is on Bunker Hill in DTLA (down the street from Disney Hall) and has an attached garage.

Crafted at one of the oldest, independent, family-run tequila distilleries in Jalisco (founded in 1900), Tequila Arette Artesanal was launched in 1986 by 5th generation Master Distillers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain at the historic "El Llano" distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. Tequila Arette Artesanal is a small-batch tequila produced with water from the springs of the nearby volcano. Tequila Arette Artesanal was rated #4 on USA Today's 10 Best Craft Tequila Distilleries with a special mention of Tequila Arette Artesanal Gran Clase Extra Anejo!

Pez Cantina, rated as one of the "Best Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles" by L.A. Taco., is a passion project from Lucy Thompson Ramirez @pezbosslady and Chef Bret Thompson. Lucy, whose family comes from Guanajuato Mexico, grew up with food and cooking as an integral part of the Ramirez household. Her dream for Pez Cantina was to bring the spirit and soul of her Mexican culinary roots to a restaurant using her husband’s skills as a professional chef.
