Open House Hobart: Aria Hour with Second Echo Ensemble

Experience the newly reimagined Millington Coffin Workshops on Liverpool Street through an Open House encounter with a difference.

Begin at Scholé with a beverage and delicious small plate from acclaimed chef Luke Burgess, before Second Echo Ensemble (SEE) leads you deeper. One at a time, patrons will be drawn from the gathering for a fleeting private performance: an aria sung just for you before being guided through the back door to Atlas & Vine, where co-owner Nick Kavenagh will have a sweet delight waiting.

Along the way, you'll discover a little more about The Eternal River and the remarkable architecture of the Millington Coffin Factory project by Taylor and Hinds.

Part architecture tour, part tiny opera, part beautiful interruption, ARIA HOUR offers an early glimpse of SEE’s opera, The Eternal River and the opportunity to become a patron of this work in development. ARIA HOUR features original libretto by Elise Romaszko, aria sung by Nicole Simms-Farrow and performance by Second Echo Ensemble.
