Travel instructions
Bus: Transport Canberra bus route 53 services the Museum on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The bus stop is on Lennox Crossing, about 200 metres from the Museum entrance. Walk or cycle: Shared paths from the city and by Lake Burley Griffin. Bike parking is in the Christina and Trevor Kennedy Garden and near the lakeside entry. Taxi or ride share: Pick-up is at the taxi zone sign under the loop, near our main entrance. Lakeside path: Access to the Museum via road and paved pedestrian path remains unchanged after a fence was erected on the lakeside path.

Once guests enter the museum they are in the Atrium, which is where the event is being held.
Toilet location
The Museum has the ACT’s first Changing Places change room, with a fully accessible public toilet, adult change table and hoist. Unisex accessible toilets, baby change tables and an ambulant toilet are available on the ground floor, from our Gandel Atrium.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking spaces for visitors who have a mobility impairment and the required permit are available free of charge near our main entrance, under the loop. Coach bays 5 and 9 are suitable for coaches fitted with mobility access lifts, hoists or ramps.
