The Cypress Stump Comes to Life

Thursday, May 29th 6-8 PM
(Primitive campers are encouraged to arrive between 3-5:30 to set up camp and settle in for the weekend, first night free!)

Bamboo Sculpture Workshop taught by James Wolf- 

Actualize the first of a 3-D installation series, semi-permanent sculpture.

*Empowering bamboo demonstrations, connecting with a team. 

*Participants need stable coordination, openness to hands on crafting and light building

*Bring your light and skilled self.

*James Wolf's teachings will help us create a dynamic installation to honor native Cypress trees.

Includes: light meals, appetizers & beverages

Location: Canopy Spirits Studio, Grounds of NUNU Arts and Culture Collective

1510 Courtableau Hwy Arnaudville, LA, 70512 

Optional breakfast 8-9, allow ample time to arrive to Canopy Spirits Studio for class, promptly at 9AM.

Day 1: Friday, May 30th 9AM-5PM

Team building and breaking ground. Sculpting with bamboo, how to shape and mold bamboo to tell a story.

Day 2: Saturday, May 31st 9AM-5PM

Structural collective efforts toward an evolving work of art. The creative progress will materialize into a larger 3-Dimensional form.

Day 3: Sunday, June 1st 9AM-5PM

Completing the sculpture.. The Cypress Stump Comes to Life

Group reflection and gratitude, telling our story.

Lodging Options: 

**Primitive camping, site ~10/15 minute walk or carpool ~2 minute drive. Primitive shower and compost toilet.

Two burner propane stove and fire pit for your pleasure! Local grocery accessible.
