We will gather on the shores of North Arnhem Land, where we will receive powerful earth and ocean healing medicines.
THIS SPECIAL EVENT IS ON LARRAKIA COUNTRY - “You have come by way of the Larrakia Land. You will hear the voice of Larrakia ancestors. When you leave, the Larrakia message will stay with you.”
- This is an off-the-grid (with power) camping experience.
- $1500 AUD per person. A deposit of $100 is required immediately, to secure your spot.
"Journey to Arnhem Land" is a life-changing, spirit connecting, soul enriching opportunity to spend time with Australia's traditional custodians and to learn ancient wisdom held by The Elders while experiencing an unforgettable, full cultural immersion, first-hand.
ITINERARY (START & FINISH IN DARWIN, NORTHERN TERRITORY):
Inclusions are: Transport to and from Darwin accommodation, Tent, Mattress & Sleeping bag, Food (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), Water, Amenities and Power at Camp, Fishing gear and ALL Cultural activities.
WEDNESDAY 24 MAY
8:00am - Pick up from Darwin-based accommodation
9:00am - "Meet and Greet" with Elders and their team, including a "Smoking Ceremony" (cleansing/purification).
10:00am - Breakfast together
11:00am - Tour of Museum and Art Gallery
12:00pm - Depart by boat to camp site at Mica (Larrakia Beach). Group sets up the camp tents on established campsite, then your once-in-a-life-time journey begins.
2:00pm - 5:00pm - Free time / Fishing
6:00pm - Dinner

9:00am - Larrakia Culture and Language Lessons
11:00am - Exploration, Bush Medicine and Tucker Gathering Lessons

11:00am - Swimming at Litchfield Park Waterfalls

2:00pm - Visit Berry Springs
5:00pm - Return to Darwin (by road)
7:00pm - Dinner with Camp Hosts and all guests at The Cavenagh Hotel (12 Cavenagh Street, Darwin)
GUESTS BRING:1 bag only of clothes, including long sleeve pants and long sleeved shirts (for bush walking and mozzies), good walking shoes, light-weight raincoat, hat, pillow, bathers, walking shoes, back pack, toiletries, 2 x towels, 1 x pillow, 1 x backpack, 1 x refillable drink bottle, sunscreen and mozzie spray.
