A ROOM FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE

An informal social gathering at Qirkz in the Hunter - for artists, musicians, writers, dancers, photographers, designers, performers, crafters and makers, educators, groups, clubs,  volunteers and anyone connected to the arts and creative industries in our local area.

There is incredible talent and creative energy in this community, and people doing all sorts of wonderful things. We want to meet you. Come and tell us all about your creative work!

It’s a tough time across the arts and creative industries, it's harder than ever to promote things happening in the community and to get support. But when creative people get together to meet, connect and collaborate: We make our own magic!

So, lets meet for a drink in our local independent music & arts venue, make some connections and See if we can get more art & more opportunity happening locally.

What you need to know:

This is a free and informal event: We will quite literally be some creative people hanging out in a room in the amazing creative venue Qirkz, having an 'after work' drinks and keen to meet people for a chat and maybe get some new creative ideas flying!
If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Qirkz yet, come and see this incredible space and bring any ideas or questions for collaborations or gigs to owners Edith and Yaron.

If we get a good turn out and there is a an interest in more conversations, I'll host more of these gatherings regularly. 

This is a non political, no negativity, no hidden agenda event. Just a chance to meet people and start some great creative conversations. Please also be a nice person and support our event hosts by buying a drink or something from the bar

Time:
Emmie from Wild Learning will be there from 5pm - 7:00ish
The venue is open till late so don't feel rushed, you are welcome to drop in for a drink (or a meal) anytime the doors are open that night!
