Dear Community!

🙏 Thank you all for your support to the cultural event ARRAIAL IN BYRON.

It is with great delight and appreciation for your patience and support that Arraial in Byron is finally on 75% of it's tickets SOLD OUT!

We are postponing the date to the next month of August 21th.

Many apologies for any inconvenience it might has caused you and thank you for your understanding.

We are looking forward to presenting a beautiful warm winter party to you with love and care.

We really do not want to put our community at risk and in accordance with the NSW COVID regulations… the regional areas from NSW are included for the new rules. All updates and information will be sent to the guest by email.

COUNTRYSIDE DRESS-UP

👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 Put your country costume on and let's take it to the dance floor!

Mans dress up as a person from the interior, from a rural area. The ARRAIAL outfit typically includes straw hats, jeans, and plaid shirts, a drawn mustache, the stereotypical look of rural folks. While the ladies put their hair in pigtails, paint freckles on their faces, and wear simple country dresses.

Anchored in the voices of Tiago Freitas (guitar 7 chords), Priscila Rios( percussion and Rabeca - Instrument from the same family from the violin), softened by Eric Sacucci's Flute and Antonio Moreira bringing the original Brazilian Bass Drum for genres of Forro, coco, Baiao, Xaxado, and Xote. Os Saracaura based in Byron Bay offers the public original harmonized and classic compositions from the lining of Northeast Brazil with poetry, love, rhythm, dance, and culture.
