Art and Aperture Tour - MV Cape Don
Event description
Join the MV Cape Don volunteer crew for a brief tour and look around the historic Lighthouse Tender the MV Cape Don. Learn about the role of the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service and see for yourself this unique example of 1960's Australian Shipbuilding.
The tour will take in multiple areas of the ship such as the bridge, officer's saloon and engine room.
Afterward, you will have time to sketch, photograph, paint etc. areas around the ship's interior and decks. Crew will be on hand at all times to answer your questions!
Attendees must wear enclosed shoes and no high heels. The vessel is not suitable for people with special accessibility requirements or mobility aids, it includes many stairs. Not suitable for children under 10 years.
Your visit will last 2 hours and is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
