Charity Art Auction & Cocktail Evening with live Music for wellbeing4learning Project.
Wellbeing4learning is a project focusing on the holistic wellbeing of teachers and children by reframing the school week based on classroom release time (CRT) hours.
Children will have 4 days with their classroom teacher and 1 day with specialist teachers focusing on creative nature education and innovative learning.
Teachers will have a 4 day in-the-classroom week and children will have a 5th day of learning that invigorates their holistic wellbeing.
Funding for the wellbeing4learning day will mostly be covered by the Ministry of Education through their allocation of CRT funding. However there will be a shortfall of 1 specialist teacher which we will need to fundraise for annually.
We need your help.....
Our first fundraising initiative to cover this shortfall will be a Cocktail evening with an Art Auction and Live Music on Saturday 30th November...come join in the magic and support the well-being and successful educational innovation of our kaiako and ākonga at Waiheke Primary School!
