Art Exhibition & Fundraiser by Artists in Gaza
Event description
Join us for a powerful exhibition showcasing incredible artworks from artists in Gaza to see the genocide through their eyes
The pop-up exhibition will feature incredible artworks created by talented artists in Gaza and wider Palestine as they grapple with survival through a 76-year history of occupation and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Funds raised at the exhibition will be donated to the artists and their families as they battle mass famine and a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
To respect and appreciate the significance of the artworks and merchandise on display, they will be available to purchase on a donation basis throughout the exhibition. 100% profits will be donated to the artists. We encourage people who are unable to purchase an artwork to also join us to show solidarity.
- Date: Saturday 21 June to Sunday 22 June 2025
- Time: 3pm-7pm
- Venue: Studio 551, 551E King St, Newtown
Artworks that will be displayed at the exhibition have been created by artists in Palestine to express their perspectives and emotions as they struggle with oppression, displacement and uncertainty for the future of their people.
The exhibition is free entry for all with food and drinks available for purchase. 100% profits from food and drink purchases will be donated to the artists.
