ART EXHIBITION | Idris Murphy

One of Australia's leading contemporary landscape artists, Idris Murphy returns to Mitchell Fine Art with a major exhibition featuring two significant bodies of work: a rare collection of dioramas presented alongside a new series of paintings inspired by the Australian outback.

Bringing together three-dimensional works and expansive, luminous landscapes, 'Incantation' offers a unique insight into Murphy's evolving practice and his enduring exploration of the emotional and spiritual experience of the Australian landscape.

His work is held in the public collections of the National Gallery of Australia, National Library of Australia, Federal Parliament House Art Collection and the Art Gallery of NSW, State Library of New South Wales, and the State Library of Queensland.
