Silt and Sky explores the enduring imprint of the Australian landscape and the quiet ways a sense of place settles within us. Through shifting light, colour and texture, these works use abstraction as a visual language to express what is often felt but difficult to articulate — tracing the connection between landscape, memory and emotion.

Based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Kristy Fox is an abstract painter who finds inspiration for her art in every corner of nature.

Kristy’s style is earthy, textural, and deeply visceral. Layers of texture, earthy tones, and organic marks drawn from the natural world are abundantly evident across all of her paintings.

“I paint in a way that embraces the beautiful chaos and quiet order of the natural world. Inspired by the wild, untamed landscapes of Australia, my pieces are as much a journey of self-exploration as they are an artistic expression.”

This is an all ages exhibition (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult)

If you're driving, street parking and public parking is available in Baker St car park (enter via Erina St near Gosford hotel and ground floor parking is free)

Please note at this time the basement gallery is accessible only via stairs which is 8 stairs to platform and then 6 more steps to the basement.
At this time we are seeking to apply for a infrastructure grant for the $97k lift from ground floor to basement.
