Sowing/Knitting Basics | Humanitix

Get hands on experience with any traditional art practice you are into.

Presented by Transition Town Stirling and facilitated by members who have the skills and experience to share with you.

This Arts and Knitting workshop is ideal for beginners and novices who are keen to explore how these traditional activities are just as relevant today.

You can learn:

 how to make marks/patterns on paper/canvas - artfully

how to draw from still life, a photo or your imagination

 try out water colour pencils, charcoal, pastels, paints and inks

how to operate your sowing machine

 the basic knitting stiches

 how to follow a knitting pattern

All art materials, knitting needles and yarn will be provided but feel free to bring along your own supplies.
