Event description

Creativity / Waste / Re-use

In this special Art Forum, we have three presenters who will speak about waste and how creative practice can intervene in the incessant flow of material waste.

Milson Barnard is a sometimes-artist, event manager, and regular tip rat who happens to be the manager of the Art From Trash program for the Resource Work Cooperative in Hobart. Milson will speak about AFT’s expanding program and present exciting opportunities for emerging artists.

Caroline Cumberbatch is an interior designer and PhD researcher exploring sustainable design practices that reimagine our relationship with "waste." With over three decades of experience, including collaborating on the interior design for Davis Station in Antarctica, she now focuses on developing innovative approaches to reuse.
