Art in the Park - Coorong National Park

Immerse yourself in the stunning coastal landscapes of Coorong National Park and discover the art of botanical illustration. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to key drawing techniques used to observe and capture the intricate details of plants and natural objects.

Drawing inspiration from the park's unique environment, you'll learn how to closely observe shape, texture, proportion and form while creating your own nature-based artwork.

Suitable for beginners and budding artists alike, this relaxed workshop encourages creativity, mindfulness and a deeper connection with the natural world. By the end of the session, you'll have developed new artistic skills and created a unique piece of artwork to take home.

All materials, including paper, pencils and drawing boards, will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring any additional art materials they would like to use.
