About Art by Mikayla Heir - "I'm Mikayla, a self-taught artist from Bidgeemia, NSW, where I'm lucky enough to work from my small studio on a sheep and crop farm. I've been creating art for as long as I can remember, and I'm constantly inspired by the unique Australian flora and fauna that surrounds me. My passion is capturing the ever-changing light and colours of the rural landscape through my paintings, whether it's capturing the beauty of native plant and animal species or an intimate moment of farm life. Through my art, I aim to share the essence of Australia's natural beauty with others, and I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I love creating it."

Where: Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre at Burrumbuttock.
