Get lost in the Souk! 

Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) and Arts Centre Melbourne present,

An uplifting assembly of performance, installation, conversation, and expression that traverses artforms and lines. Bear witness to impulse creativity and radical acts of unity, situated on one of the world’s oldest meeting places. See the full program of this two-day event here: Art Souk: Get lost in the souk! 

Led by MzRizk’s sharp eye for artistry and no-nonsense curation, Art Souk brings together Naarm’s creative innovators in one place for one intimate afternoon and two electrifying evenings of performance. 

A truly inspiring line up, the ticketed evening performances featuring Halo Vocal Ensemble, MO’JU, and MzRizk joined on Friday night by thndo and KOKORO by Julie Ann Minaai and Noriko Tadano. The live performances will be interspersed with short films by Gabriela Isabel González, and Bexx. 

The Art Souk is a destination for those who seek a deeper connection across artforms, cultures and languages… with a little room for gossip. Go on, dish the tea, feed your senses and nourish your soul.

Doors at 7:00PM for a 7:30PM start time.

Art Souk is initiated through MAV’s DIASPORAS program, supported by the City of Melbourne, Creative Victoria and Creative Australia.

MAV aims to empower IBPOC artists, foster mutual understanding, and create meaningful connections that extend beyond the event. 

Art Souk will be a platform for creatives to showcase their experiences and be recognised as essential to a thriving arts ecology.
