Event description
Art therapy is a powerful tool to create, heal and thrive. Through these weekly art therapy workshops, you will be introduced to sensorimotor practices which will help you express yourself through painting, nature, clay, movement, music, and meditation. Our facilitator, Bree, will create a safe and nourishing space for you to explore how art therapy feels and how it can support your way of life within community, when you embody your own wisdom and connect as a group
Following a successful trial of this program in 2024, Benalla Art Gallery is excited to bring back these workshops on a weekly basis for 12 months, thanks to the generous support of the Benalla Art Gallery Foundation and funding from the Scobie & Claire Mackinnon Trust.
You are welcome to attend a one-off session or as many sessions as possible to gain the full benefit of this great experience and the amazing skills of our Art Therapy practitioner, Bree Marchbank.
