Event description

Making do with what comes to hand comes naturally to potters. Join ceramicist Fran Romano to incorporate a foraging exercise around the property for materials to use as tools, textures and additions into clay objects. We will ‘make do’ with the kinds of tools that we all have at hand around the house. Kitchen implements and ordinary household objects – similar to those that were used Mugga Mugga Cottage. With these materials, participants will be guided to create ephemeral clay vessels. These may later be re-constituted back into soft clay to be re-used, or simply handed back to nature.

Part of Making Do at Mugga Artist Workshop Series including John Pratt, Fran Romano, Mariana De Castillio and Nicola Dickson.
