Event description

Ever thought that you would like to make a painting but didn’t know what to paint or how to start? Artist Nicola Dickson will show you how to use watercolour paints to create a still life painting, ‘making do’ with everyday domestic objects. Working from a tableau of items similar to those of Mugga Mugga, participants will be shown ways of making an interesting composition for a painting. Technical demonstrations will show participants how to transform the arrangement of objects into an image that can suggest a mood or story.

Part of Making Do at Mugga Artist Workshop Series including John Pratt, Fran Romano, Marian De Castillo and Nicola Dickson.
