    Event description

We’re celebrating the rich cultural heritage and traditions of our Indigenous peoples, and their enduring connection to this beautiful Bundjalung country. In celebration of NAIDOC Week, we invite you to join us at Namabunda Farm in this painting workshop with Bundjalung Artist Tywana Caldwell. Tywana will lead this class, using paint to explore this year's Naidoc theme, "Blak, Loud and Proud".

Tywana Caldwell is a First Nations Artist. Her home town is Lismore, Widjabul Wiabal Country of the Bundjalung Nation. She won Richmond Landcare’s River of Reconciliation Art award in 2023 with her artwork "Baluun – River".

"I’m well known as Nunja or Nunj (Nun-ja) which is associated with being happy. My art is one of my hobbies. Sharing my art is very rewarding because I make it for everyone to love." Tywana Caldwell
