New Location: Whangārei Town Basin - Putahi Park to Reyburn House & the Sculpture Park

ArtBeat is Northland's largest interactive Arts Festival, welcoming the entire community to indulge and participate in a range of whānau friendly, creative and artistic wonders - free of charge. This vibrant day promises some old favourites along with exciting new twists.
With a diverse array of artistic displays, live performances, interactive arts zones, immersive workshops, food and craft stalls spanning across Whangārei's waterfront, there's something for everyone, from curious toddlers to music-loving teens, creatives and art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

Our 2024 Theme is: 'Enhancing wellbeing through the Arts'
We are raising funds so that we can provide shaded areas, St Johns services, sign language interpreters, multi-lingual facilitators, VIP viewing areas for our visitors
with disabilities, as well as compensate our performers and artists on the day. Creative Northland is passionate about
recognising the value of our local artists, creatives and volunteers that make ArtBeat
possible.
