What to expect at ArtBeat 2025: 

ArtBeat 2025 invites you to join a month-long celebration of creativity, connection, and culture across Tai Tokerau - April 2025. 

With the kaupapa Weaving Communities, ArtBeat 2025 will explore how the Arts, Culture and Heritage bring us together, sharing stories, strengthening identities, and celebrating our collective-ness.

This vibrant and inclusive festival provides a platform for artists, cultural organisations, community groups, and heritage spaces to showcase their unique voices. There will be a whole programme of exhibitions, performances, workshops, and interactive activities that you can get involved with over the month of April 2025!

Our usual ArtBeat Carnival Day is on Saturday, 12th April, at Whangārei’s Town Basin. 
With live performances, interactive art installations, and community activities, this day will be the ultimate expression of our theme, demonstrating how creativity unites us while celebrating our differences.

ArtBeat 2025 offers something for everyone. Come and explore the many ways in which Art, Culture & Heritage enrich our communities of Tai Tokerau.
