Event description

The People’s Music Supply is gathering for the second annual mass take over of Studio 34. Riding high off last year's Play It By Ear/III Chambers event, we're inviting every member and a bunch of dancers to engage in a multi-room audio visual experience. This event is also closing reception for Jessica Brown's fashion exhibit, The Fashions of Paradise, featuring an array of textiles, prints, paintings, and knick-knacks for you to take home.

The rules are simple: Each room is a chamber with its own specific metaphysical and vibrational properties. They are enacted by participants and audience who freely wander through them.

From the tiniest massage rooms, to the two yoga studios and lounge, every site is a fresh way of understanding ourselves and spaces and time.

Artists include:

  • Melinda Rice — Violin, Viola
  • Abe Mamet — Horn
  • Aaron Pond — Horn, Voice, Flutes
  • Jessica Brown — Horn, Voice
  • Ihba Baskette — Reeds, Percussion
  • Ryoko Ohara — Reeds, Percussion
  • Max Glazier — Percussion
  • Mijkalena Smith — Movement
  • Sonali Singh — Bassoon, Percussion
  • Sylvia Winch — Trombone
  • Matteo McDonnell — Accordion, Voice, Percussion
  • Ann Adachi — Flute

Chambers will be adorned by Jessica Brown, Ella Konefal, amazing video art, and more!

Suggested admission to Arterial Anarchy is $10–$20 sliding with no one turned away (NOTA) at any cost.

Studio 34 may be reached by ascending a long flight of stairs, but all of its chambers are air conditioned for your comfort.
