Artesian Time with Port Bus to Tamworth & Moree. Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th August 2022

Tour Summary:

It’s time to soothe those aches and pains. Port Bus is heading to Moree this August. Along the way, we will visit some historic and cultural venues, take tours of museums, learn the art of fish farming, enjoy good ole country food, and just have a down and out great time.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Pickups will commence by 08:00. Morning tea is at Mount Seaview. Departing for lunch at the Commercial Hotel, Walcha by 11:15. After lunch, we make our way to Tamworth and visit The Big Golden Guitar around 16:00 before checking in to Stockmans Hotel. Dinner is on-site at Carmen's Restaurant.

Day 2: After breakfast we will checkout & depart by 09:00, stopping at Lake Keepit for morning tea. We arrive around 12:30 at Narrabri Fish Farm for a tour & lunch. On our way out of town, we pop into the Paul Wild Observatory. Arriving around17:00 we check in to Gwydir Thermal Pools Motel. Settle in, and go for a dip before dinner at the Amaroo Tavern.

Day 3: Off we go around 9 to Bank Art Museum for a tour and morning tea. A visit to Terry Hie Hie before lunch at the Pally Pub’ around 13:00. Back to the pools for a dip, snooze, or whatever you like before dinner around 6 @ Amaroo Tavern.

Day 4: Checkout and depart t day by 8:45. Morning tea is at Inverell before heading onto Uralla for a tour & lunch @ McCrossins Mill Museum. A quick snap with ‘Captain Thunderbolt and homeward bound we will be. Drop-offs will commence around 18:00.
