  • Dr Kim Drever

Dr Kim Drever (BMBS Hons, FRACP, MPH) is a developmental and behavioural paediatrician with more than 20 years' experience and a Digital Health Adviser to the Australian Digital Health Agency. She came to digital health through ambient AI scribing, as an early adopter and former Clinical Lead at Lyrebird Health (2023 to 2025), where she saw both its promise and its limits: how hard it is to produce clinically meaningful data that travels with the patient. That drew her into CSIRO Sparked FHIR accelerator, Australia's world leading health data for interoperability standards community, on a simple conviction that without good data, there is no good AI. She also advises in the Thriving Kids space, supporting earlier identification of children with developmental needs. On this panel she brings the practising clinician's perspective, and is a strong advocate for the responsible use of digital health, encouraging clinicians to take part in co-design so that tools are shaped by the people who use them and the patients they serve. Her view: done well, AI can make care more human, not less.
