    Event description

Looking to ignite your creativity or reconnect with your inner artist? Inspired by Julia Cameron’s concept of the Artist Date, these small-group art sessions are designed to be a gift to yourself—a time for creative play, personal discovery, and joy.

Adult Sessions @ THE SALON: CREATIVE STUDIO

    Thursdays | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM or 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

    What to Expect: 5 sessions

    • Hands-On Creative Exploration
Experiment with paint, drawing, and mixed media. Each session provides the freedom to explore new techniques and materials in a relaxed, open setting.
    • A Space for Reflection and Self-Discovery
Rooted in the spirit of the Artist Date, these sessions invite you to explore who you are and how you perceive the world. Think of each class as a solo adventure with a creative twist—time to reconnect with yourself and to feel inspired.
    • Small Group Setting with Personalised Support
With limited spots, you’ll enjoy personalised guidance and a supportive, inspiring atmosphere that allows you to test ideas, push boundaries, and grow.

    Why Choose These Sessions?

Led by Justine Poplin—an experienced educator and visual culture researcher with over 20 years of cross-cultural expertise in Australia and China—these sessions offer a unique blend of creativity, critical thinking, and self-reflection. Justine’s approach draws on her understanding of artistic process and visual culture, encouraging you to think deeply, experiment freely, and find joy in artistic play.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply curious to try something new, these sessions are designed to help you build confidence, develop new skills, and create something truly unique.
