A Life So Bountiful
Girlhood is atemporal, and I am forever just a girl.

Operating as a natural archivist I present my unconscious associations with teenage ephemera, twenty-tens wistfulness, and my resulting notions of self. Swarmed by Sanrio guardians and motifs of MySpace kawaii culture, A Life So Bountiful contrasts the pure sweetness of childhood nostalgia with the influential and suggestive internet era that held my hand into adulthood. Eyeliner emulating Scene era trends, queer awakenings prompted by Tumblr, staring at YouTube tutorials as I cut my own hair on my bedroom floor, and reveling in the transformative nature of ordinary moments that feel monumental when you’re young.

Imagery is collaged together like magazine cutouts and bedroom wall cork boards, floating around each other in imagined digital landscapes. The often compacted and oversaturated spaces of visual information bombard you with gentle over stimulation, sharing the intimate and unconventional narratives of my experiences within girlhood.
