Join Confronting Femininity curators Sal Edwards and Institute of Modern Art Director Robert Leonard alongside artist Natalya Hughes, as they discuss the works in Confronting Femininity.

Together they will reflect on femininity, gendered expression, and the tension between empowerment and constraint.

Confronting Femininity is on show at the Institute of Modern Art, Meanjinn/Brisbane from 4 October–20 December 2025.
