Artist Talk with Ian de Souza 

Join us at the gallery as we speak to internationally recognised Artist Ian de Souza.

This talk will provide insight into Ian's Artist practice, including his work in the City of Greater Geraldton's Art Collection, his latest exhibition Clear Light: Full Circle and other projects. 

IAN DE SOUZA 

Ian is a full-time practicing artist and educator based in Fremantle WA, with an exhibition history spanning over forty years, exhibiting across Australia, the USA and Singapore. Ian's approach to his practice is highly disciplined, the sustained force of his artistic exploration is the fluid connection between light, line, colour and movement. His work is held in private and public collections worldwide, including the City of Greater Geraldton's Art Collection.

Ian de Souza's career spans decades of artistic innovation, making him one of Western Australia's most distinctive artistic voices. From his early work capturing external landscapes to this new introspective collection, his practice reflects a continuous journey of transformation and discovery.
