Artist Talks - Towards Jericho
Event description
Towards Jericho - Artist Talks & Closing Event
Tuesday June 24, 6pm - 8pm. Donation entry.
As the Towards Jericho exhibition draws to a close, we invite you to an evening of shared stories, reflections, and dialogue.
This artist talk will bring together voices from Naarm and the West Bank — united by themes of homeland, exile, resistance, and the power of art to hold memory and spark change.
Facilitated by the exhibition curators, Georgia Mulholland and Samar Abedrabo based in Naarm and Palestine respectively, the conversation will be an open, heartfelt exchange exploring art as a vessel for political and cultural storytelling, a means of reclaiming space, and a source of resilience amid displacement.
Alongside the curators you'll hear from exhibiting artists: Ayman Kaake, Mohammed Hadia, Rasyiddin Faizal and Angelita Biscotti.
Pay as you feel entry. Your donation helps us fairly compensate the artists for their time and talents.
