Creative Workshop - Coiled Basket (Tjampi) - 10am-3pm (16yrs and over)
Coiled Basket Making (Tjampi) Workshop with Di Finn. Discover the art of coiled basket making infused with a dash of personal flair and a deep respect for Aboriginal culture and history. Di was privileged to learn this technique in Arnhem Land and the APY lands with the women of Elcho Island, Amata and Ernabella. In sharing this with you, you will learn the basics from selecting the perfect materials, to creating your own unique piece as well as a twist using some non-traditional materials.
